rai·son d'ê·tre

More than ever God's abiding love, His grace, hope, and comfort needs to be shared with the world. Our passion is to allow God to use us in whatever way possible to share all of His unfathomable grace and goodness with a world that needs Him now more than ever before.

Iwe Ẹkọ and Mụọ Ihe are Yoruba and Igbo language bible study guides. The apps contain the Seventh-day Adventist Study guides along the Holy Bible and a subset of Hymns in the respective language. The apps are available free on the Google Play and Apple App Stores. The apps do not collect, track or store any user data.

Why

One of our primary goals, as naijachurch, is to have as many Nigerian languages as possible available for Bible Study on the internet and in your hands.

Let us know if you'd like us to work on your making the Sabbath School Quarterly available in your language.

Please reach out to us on Kofi -

How

We do not have access to the soft copy of the quarterly. These apps aren't officially affiliated with the SDA Church in Nigeria. Instead, we manually scan and convert the physical (i.e. hardcopy) quarterly to soft-copy, parse it and format it for display in mobile app form factor.

Our costs include the backend server costs, manpower costs to cover manual proofreading and editing, and software development costs to make code fixes and provide ongoing support

Partnership

There are opportunities for you to join us. We are currently a 4 person team - it's amazing how many cooks it takes to sustain this effort.
We do this in our spare team and take on the costs ourselves. As you may guess, we are open to all the assistance we can get including

  • getting access to the official soft-copies (legally, we'll like to stress)
  • accepting donations towards keeping this work on-going - https://ko-fi.com/oniovo
  • Donate

Please support us by donating here.
All donations go back into helping us continue to make the quarterlies and other religious material available for free.

Oniovo is an Urhobo word. It means my brother or sister from the same mother.
We believe all humans are children of God - He is our Father. We all strayed from God and yet in his love He calls and draws us back home.

We are, each one, products of God's amazing grace. Sharing that grace with the world gives us purpose - 1 Peter 4:10.
